RCMP have laid a charge in relation to the death of a 48 year-old man in Fort Smith on August 13, 2018.
Wilfred Abraham, 54 years-old, of Fort Smith has been charged with one (1) count of murder in the second degree, CC s.235 (1). He has been remanded to custody and will appear in court August 16, 2018 in Yellowknife.
A post mortem examination has been ordered by NWT Coroner Service. RCMP and the NWT Coroner Service continue the investigation.
