Update: RCMP analysing of evidence as part of investigation into fatal hit and run

The Southeast District RCMP is conducting analysis on key evidence as part of its investigation into a fatal hit and run in Saint-Charles, N.B.

On February 24, 2018, around 9:30 p.m., the Richibucto RCMP responded to a report of a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian on St-Charles Sud Road. The victim, a 22-year-old man, died at the scene. The vehicle involved left before police arrived. An RCMP collision reconstructionist attended.

On February 25, 2018, a vehicle was seized as part of the investigation. Police have gathered evidence as part of the investigation, and are currently conducting analysis and interviews as part of the ongoing investigation.
