Single vehicle crash claims life of 64-year-old man

A 64-year-old man from Petitcodiac has died following a crash on the Trans-Canada Highway near Salisbury.

The Southeast District RCMP responded to a report of a single vehicle crash on January 30, 2018 around noon. When they arrived, they found a car had gone through the guardrail near the commercial vehicle scales. The car was found flipped over, down a steep embankment. The driver, who was the only person in the car, died at the scene.

Police are still trying to determine how long the car was there before being discovered.

The investigation is continuing.
