Saint-Léonard RCMP investigating break, enter, and theft at cottage

The Saint-Léonard detachment of the West District RCMP is asking for the public's assistance in relation to a break, enter, and theft that occurred at a cottage in Rivière-Verte.

Sometime during the month of April 2018, a cottage located on Chemin Davis was broken into. The incident was reported to police on May 1, 2018, by the owner. There was no damage to the cottage, however a black Hatsan Optima 20 gauge shotgun, a white antique dresser, clothing, a sofa bed, housewares as well as small appliances and beer were taken. A red truck has also been spotted in the area in the last few weeks and police would like to identify the driver in the event they have information that may assist in the investigation.
