Sailboat moored near shore targeted by thieves

Halifax District RCMP is investigating after multiple items were stolen from a sailboat moored near the Shore Club in Hubbards.

The owners went ashore around 11 p.m. on June 30 and when they returned 3 hours later, they discovered multiple items had been stolen off their sailboat. Electronics, including i-phones and laptop, clothing, alcohol and car keys were some of the items taken. It appears the suspect(s) entered through a small hatch that was not locked.

The investigation is continuing.
