Bay St. George RCMP responded to a call of a residential fire on Hillview Avenue at approximately 12:15 p.m. on June 30, 2018.
The Stephenville Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services were already on scene.
The homeowner was not at home at the time of the fire. Extensive damage was done to the structure.
The investigation is ongoing.
