The media is invited to attend the closing ceremonies of the August 2018 RCMP Youth Leadership Workshop at the RCMP Academy, "Depot" Division in Regina, Saskatchewan.
A group of 16 students in grades 9-12 from across Canada attended the workshop, each accompanied by an RCMP police mentor from their respective communities. Over the past four days, they've identified youth crime and victimization issues through interactive educational sessions and developed youth-led, police-supported action plans to help keep their communities safe.

- Who: Inspector Honey Dwyer, Officer in Charge of RCMP F Division (Saskatchewan) Community Policing will give an address and present each participant with certificates of appreciation.
Participating youth and RCMP representatives will also be available to speak to the media.
Members of the media are asked to arrive at the RCMP Academy at 3:40 p.m. Please park at the RCMP Heritage Centre (5907 Dewdney Avenue) and proceed on foot south on Bonner Drive to the Fort Dufferin Guard Room to receive a visitor's pass and meet with your escort. All visitors are required to leave a piece of government-issued identification in order to receive a visitor's pass. Visitors must be accompanied at all times while at the RCMP Academy.
