RCMP request public info regarding stolen van

The RCMP is asking the assistance of the general public in help locating suspect(s) of a vehicle that was stolen December 24th 2017 from New Brunswick.

The vehicle was recovered later that day by the Queens District RCMP and is described as:
Make: GMC
Model: G2500 RALLY
Year: 1984
Color: Grey

Police are aware that another vehicle had stopped to help a man trying to get the vehicle started after it had broken down on the south side of Route #1 facing East in Bonshaw around 3:00 - 3:30 p.m. on the day of the theft, Saturday, December 24. A witness observed a car parked at the front of the van, apparently providing assistance.

Police are asking the person who had stopped to help to contact your local police office. Anyone else who may have information about this suspect or any person with information on this stolen vehicle, is asked to call the RCMP at 368-9300 or provide information anonymously through P.E.I. Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS(8477).
