RCMP issue stern warning

On January 17, 2018 it was brought to the attention of the West Prince RCMP that a car rally amongst the teen population of West Prince is scheduled for January 20 or 27, 2018. There are several tasks in the car rally which have to be completed by those involved, as an example: driving 160 km/h; drinking shots of alcohol in a specified period of time, running a red light, etc.

The West Prince RCMP are issuing a stern warning to not participate in this rally. Many of the tasks involved may result in charges under the criminal code or provincial statutes and could put the public at risk. West Prince RCMP will be out in full force and have zero tolerance for this event. Any violation of the law will result in charges.

The RCMP is asking for the public's assistance to report any suspicious activity to the West Prince RCMP. Anyone with information about this event is asked to call the West Prince RCMP at 902-853-9300 or report it via Crime Stoppers by:
