RCMP investigating two incidents of mischief at Darlington Mall

The Northeast District RCMP is asking for the public's assistance in relation to two incidents of mischief that occurred at the Darlington Mall in Dalhousie.

August 8, 2018, police responded to a first incident of mischief at Darlington Mall located on Plaza Boulevard in Dalhousie. The incident is believed to have happened between the night of August 7, and the morning of August 8, 2018. There was some damage to windows as well as a mess from fire extinguishers that had been emptied. Water damage was also sustained in the building.

On the night of August 9, 2018, new damage was discovered to the exterior of the building. Several windows were broken on exterior and interior doors as well as the monitors from several computers. Beer bottles were also smashed throughout the mall.

It is believed the two incidents are related. The investigation is ongoing.
