RCMP investigating theft of semi truck and trailer

Northeast District RCMP is asking for the public's help locating a missing semi truck and trailer reported stolen from Saint-Quentin, N.B. just after 5 a.m. on July 30, 2018.

The blue 2005 Western Star model 4900FA is equipped with a wood loader. The cab of the truck has the words "Érablière Denis Côté et fils" printed on both doors. The vehicle was spotted near Bathurst on Highway 180 (Resources Road) at around 6 a.m. on July 30, 2018.

Police believe that the vehicle could be in the Acadian Peninsula, in the Tracadie, N.B. area. Anyone with information about this theft of the vehicle or its whereabouts is asked to call the RCMP at 506-235-2149 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or by Secure Web Tips at www.crimenb.ca.
