The Baker Lake RCMP and Nunavut Major Crime Unit have been called to assist the Chief Coroner's office with an investigation into the sudden death of a 14-year old female who was found unresponsive at a local residence.
The Chief Coroner has requested an autopsy as the cause of death is unknown.
A Government of Nunavut Department of Health crisis response team has been requested to assist the family and community at this time.
