RCMP advises public of bull on the loose

Nova Scotia RCMP is advising the public to be aware of a bull on the loose.

Kingston RCMP received a call at approximately 8:30 p.m. April 1 of a large one-tonne bull that has escaped its pasture area and is on the loose.

The black and white bull was last seen heading into the woods off of Long Point Rd. towards Berwick, between Hwy 1 and Hwy 101.

RCMP is asking anyone in the area to be aware as the bull could be dangerous and a traffic hazard. Please call 911 if the bull is spotted. If you have any information about this, you are asked to contact the Kingston RCMP Detachment at 902-765-3317. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you can also contact Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or submit tips by Secure Web Tips at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca. Calls to Crime Stoppers are not taped or traced and if police make an arrest and lay charges based on a tip, callers qualify for a cash award.
