On May 6, 2018, at approximately 10:00 am, Powerview RCMP were dispatched to check on the owner of a residence in Belair, Manitoba. When officers arrived at the residence, the 80-year-old male homeowner was located deceased.
The death has been determined to be a homicide. There is no threat to public safety in relation to this matter.
RCMP Major Crime Services and the RCMP Forensic Identification Section are assisting with the ongoing investigation.
