Nova Scotia man wanted on warrant arrested by Campbellton RCMP

The Northeast District RCMP has arrested a 28-year-old man wanted on warrants of arrest issued by the Northeast Nova RCMP and Halifax Regional Police.

On May 1, 2018, around 5 p.m., police stopped a stolen vehicle on Victoria Street in Dalhousie. The vehicle had two occupants and both were arrested at the scene. The passenger was later released and the driver was kept in custody for warrants issued from Nova Scotia.

Brian Justin Johnson, from Windsor Nova Scotia, has been charged in Campbellton Provincial Court with failure to comply with condition of a recognizance. Johnson has been remanded in custody pending a future court appearance.

The investigation is continuing.
