The Northwest Territories RCMP is aware email bomb threats were sent to multiple businesses in communities throughout Canada. The email threats are demanding bit coin payment.
If you have been the recipient of one of these e-mail threats, please do not respond to the bit coin demand. Please report it to your local RCMP detachment.
The RCMP is determining the origin and validity of the threats.
Investigation is ongoing.
