To all RCMP NHQ Employees,

Electrical service has not been restored to the Nadon building at 73 Leikin Drive. Employees should remain at home on Monday, September 24, unless directed otherwise by their supervisor.

If you already have the equipment to work from home, please do so, however please do not attend HQ to retrieve laptops or materials unless directed to do so by your manager.

Please check the RCMP Employee Emergency Phone line at 1-866-RCMPGRC for the most recent information on the building's status.

In the meantime, please keep your families safe, and take care of whatever is necessary in your homes until the power is restored. There is support available to any employees affected by the tornado or the south Ottawa storms:

The City of Ottawa has emergency reception centres set up at 3088 Dunrobin Road and 2185 Arch Street in Nepean. For more information, please visit the City of Ottawa website.

The City of Gatineau disaster relief centre is moving this afternoon from the Gabrielle-Roy campus of CEGEP de l'Outaouais at 333 boulevard de la Cite-des-jeunes, to the Centre communautaire du Père-Arthur-Guertain at 16 Rue Bériault.
