Methamphetamine, marijuana, contraband cigarettes seized in two separate searches

This past Friday, the Southeast District RCMP's Crime Reduction Unit executed separate drug search warrants at two houses in Lakeville, N.B.

During the afternoon of July 6, 2018, police executed a drug search warrant at a residence on Kenshaw Street in Lakeville. A quantity of methamphetamine, marijuana and contraband cigarettes were seized. A 42-year-old woman from Lakeville was arrested and released on a promise to appear in Moncton Provincial Court on November 13, 2018.

Later that afternoon, police executed a second drug search warrant at a residence on Biddington Avenue in Lakeville. A quantity of marijuana and contraband cigarettes was seized. A 40-year-old man from Lakeville was arrested and released on a promise to appear in Moncton Provincial Court on November 13, 2018. At this time, it is not believed the two are connected.

Both investigations are continuing.
