Man charged with sexual offences

Thirty-nine year-old David Harrison of Canaan, Kings County has been charged with several sexual offences relating to incidents that began in 2013.

The RCMP was contacted this past July by the victim, who was 16 years old when these incidents began. The RCMP Technological Crime Unit assisted with this investigation and were able to recover evidence that supported the victim's allegations.

On November 20, the RCMP searched Harrison's home with a warrant, and arrested him. He was remanded into custody and will be appearing later today in Kentville Provincial Court. He has been charged with:

  • Sexual Exploitation
  • Luring a Child
  • Sexual Assault
