Man charged with robbery of gas station

Codiac Regional RCMP have charged a man and arrested a woman in connection with a robbery at a gas station in early May 2018, in Moncton, N.B.

On May 8, 2018, at approximately 4:15 a.m., police were called to a report of a robbery at the Esso gas station on Elmwood Drive in Moncton. A man entered the store armed with a knife and demanded money and cigarettes from the employee. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes.

On May 31, 2018, a 24-year-old man from Moncton was arrested and on June 1, 2018, a 28-year-old woman from Moncton was also arrested. Both individuals were arrested in Moncton.

Kevin Stuart Dobson appeared in Moncton Provincial Court on June 1, 2018, and was charged with robbery and committing an indictable offence while masked. He was remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear in court on June 18, 2018, at 9:30 a.m., for a bail hearing.

The 28-year-old woman was released with a promise to appear in Moncton Provincial Court on August 22, 2018, at 9:30 a.m.
