A 21-year-old man has been charged following a collision that claimed the life of a 29-year-old man on Grand Manan.
On January 1, 2018 around 3:20 a.m., West District RCMP Grand Manan Detachment were called to Highway 776 near Seal Cove on Grand Manan where a pickup truck had collided with an ATV. The operator of the ATV, a 29-year-old man from Grand Manan, died at the scene. A 21-year-old man was arrested.
Daniel Richard Greene of Grand Manan was charged with one count of operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol level over 80 mg causing death. He was remanded in custody pending a court appearance in Saint John Provincial Court on January 2, 2018 at 1:30 p.m.
