A man has been arrested following a significant seizure of what are believed to be methamphetamine pills near Saint-Léonard.
On January 2, 2018, around 7:45 a.m., the West District RCMP Saint-Léonard Detachment stopped an eastbound vehicle on the Trans-Canada Highway near Saint-Léonard. A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of approximately 28-thousand pills of what is believed to be methamphetamine. The driver of the vehicle was arrested at the scene.
A 47-year-old man from Moncton was released on conditions pending a future court appearance.
The investigation is continuing.
