Island Lake RCMP seize drugs and guns from St. Theresa Point First Nation

On January 12, 2018, Island Lake RCMP received a report of a firearm being pointed at a female inside her residence in St. Theresa Point First Nation, Manitoba. Police attended the residence. Upon further investigation, officers found and seized cocaine, marihuana, Percocet and Xanax as well as three firearms and an amount of ammunition.

Zachary Wood, 24, has been charged with seven firearms offences. Lanny Mason, 33, has been charged with three counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking. Both males have been remanded into custody.
