Get involved and have your voice heard. The RCMP in Prince Edward Island is currently recruiting young Canadians for the 2018-2019 National Youth Advisory Committee (NYAC) to provide youth with a chance to be part of the conversation in policing.

The purpose of this committee is to ensure that the voice of Canadian youth is represented within the RCMP and to assist with developing effective youth strategies and initiatives across the country.

  • are you between 13 and 18 or 18-21
  • do you have something to say about issues facing young people and want to help shape RCMP programs for youth?

By getting involved, you will:

Help inform and improve RCMP youth strategies

Interact with youth from across Canada and gain incredible insight

Develop critical thinking skills by answering discussion questions and exchanging views regarding current topics

Obtain a reference letter and 20 community service hours
