Impaired driver, who should have walked home initially, attempts to walk away after crashing his vehicle

On August 8, 2018, just after midnight, Placentia RCMP responded to a report of a vehicle that had gone off the road in Placentia.

A 46-year-old man from Placentia area, who attempted to walk away from the vehicle after putting it off the road, was located by police and arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle.

The man provided breath samples that were three times the legal limit and now faces impaired driving charges. His licence was suspended and the vehicle was impounded for 30 days. A court date has been set for October 3, 2018.
