Ferryland RCMP seek public's assistance in relation to a motor vehicle arson in the area.

In the early morning hours of June 27, 2018, a vehicle, that was parked near a residence on Fisherman's Road in Witless Bay, was set on fire. Police are requesting that residents in the area check any security cameras and are urging the public to report any suspicious activity.

This is the second report of arson to a motor vehicle in the past number of days in the Witless Bay area. Both matters remain under investigation.
