Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week: Suspicious Fire

Crime Stoppers and the Southeast District RCMP, Hampton detachment, are looking for the person or persons responsible for a suspicious fire at Bates Barn on Route 850 in Long Point, New Brunswick.

During the early morning hours of February 15, 2017, someone set fire to the event venue known as Bates Barn. The structure was completely destroyed along with equipment and supplies stored in the building. A car was seen leaving the area at the time of the fire. Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the car and its driver as they may have information relevant to the investigation.
