Corner Brook RCMP advise that, with the assistance of partner agencies, contingency plans have been put in place for access to York Harbour and Lark Harbour. Should an emergent public safety issue develop the RCMP is prepared to respond to these temporarily isolated communities.
The RCMP would like to remind all residents in the flood water affected areas to exercise caution near waterways as creek and river banks may be eroded and collapse easily.
