A man and woman from Scoudouc were arrested after Southeast District RCMP executed a search warrant for drugs on April 20,2018, at a home on Malakoff Road in Scoudouc, N.B.
Police seized more than 160 thousand contraband cigarettes and cigars, approximately four kilograms of cannabis and pills believed to be Oxycodone and Hydromorphone. Police also seized two firearms at the residence.
A 70-year-old man and a 56-year-old woman were arrested at the home. Both were later released on conditions to appear in court at a later date. The woman is scheduled to appear in Moncton Provincial Court on September 4, 2018, and the man on August 21, 2018.
The investigation is continuing.
