Chipman RCMP seeking public's assistance in relation to theft and arson of SUV

The West District RCMP is asking for the public's assistance in relation to a theft and arson of an SUV.

Police from the Chipman RCMP detachment responded to a complaint of a break, enter and theft at a residence on Main Street in Chipman, N.B. A black 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe was stolen from a detached garage located on the property. Surveillance footage shows the Tahoe leaving the property at around 4:00 a.m., on January 27, 2018. A Lincoln MIG welder and Dewalt impact nail gun were also stolen from the property.

The Tahoe was later found burnt on the Post Road in Chipman on January 28, 2018.
