Richmond District RCMP's Detachment in Arichat will temporarily be offered at St. Peter's Detachment as renovations to the detachment building in Arichat are completed. This includes front counter service, which will be offered by St. Peter's Detachment in the interim. Residents of the Arichat area can continue to contact Arichat RCMP by calling the local detachment at 902-226-2533, or St. Peter's Detachment at 902-535-2002. Residents can also visit the detachment in St. Peter's. There will be no other changes to the policing services the community normally receives.
The RCMP would like to thank the community for their patience during this time and looks forward to providing an update when the RCMP Detachment in Arichat is re-opened for service to the public.
