Bear sightings reported in Sheshatshiu

July 3, 2018, Sheshatshiu RCMP received two separate reports of bear sightings in the community of Sheshatshiu.

One caller reports that people are feeding the bears. RCMP encourage the public to refrain from doing so, as it will promote bears to roam through the community. Forestry and Wildlife have been contacted and have set traps in the area.
