Bathurst RCMP looking for two individuals involved in home invasion

The Northeast District RCMP Bathurst Detachment is investigating a home invasion and robbery at a home in Lorne, N.B.

On March 13, 2018, around 4:30 a.m., two men wearing disguises entered a home on Lorne Road armed with a knife. The suspects fled with an undisclosed amount of money and prescription pills. They are believed to have left the scene in a dark coloured, older model Jeep-style vehicle. The resident who was home at the time of the robbery was not injured.

The first suspect is described as being 6'1" tall with a medium build. The second suspect is described as being 5'9" tall with a stocky build. Both are described as wearing dark coloured snowmobile suits and both spoke with broken French accents.

The investigation is continuing.
