Yellowknife RCMP respond to multiple reports of assault in progress

During the evening hours of Monday, August 14th, Yellowknife RCMP responded to complaints of an assault in progress.

At approximately 8:45 pm, Yellowknife RCMP responded to several calls for service regarding an assault at 50th Street and Franklin Avenue. Officers attended the scene and located an assault in progress involving four adult females and an adult male.

All of the involved persons were arrested and placed in custody. They have since been released on a Promise to Appear in court October 17, 2017.

Charges are pending and the investigation is ongoing.
