Wooden barricade damaged at Somerset Elementary School

On September 1st, 2017 at approximately 8:00 a.m., an employee at Somerset Elementary School in Kinkora, PE reported to the East Prince RCMP damage to a wooden barricade on their property. This damage would have occurred between August 31st, 2017 at 3:30 p.m. and the time it was reported to police.

The wooden barricade, which consisted of several 6x6 posts, was recently erected by the school to prevent motorized vehicles from entering on to their property. Three of the posts were cut at ground level.

The police are requesting the public's assistance with identifying those responsible for the damage to school property. Anyone with information is asked to call the East Prince RCMP at 902-436-9300.
