Woman arrested for arson following suspicious house fire

At 11:16 p.m. on October 14, Lunenburg District RCMP was called to the scene of a suspicious house fire on Oakes Rd. in Branch LaHave. A short time later, a 34-year-old woman from Branch LaHave was arrested in Auburndale for having intentionally set the fire.

Tasha Wentzell of Branch LaHave is facing a charge of Arson. She is scheduled to return to Bridgewater Provincial Court today. The investigation is ongoing.
