Update: Two Break, Enter and Assault cases result in charges laid

On Tuesday, August 1, Prince Edward Island RCMP Major Crime Unit (MCU) reported on the investigation of Break, Enter and Assault incidents that had occurred on Saturday July 29th, 2017 (see previous information: rcmp-grc.ca/25019 ).

Subsequent to the information provided, on Tuesday August 1st, the PEI RCMP MCU, with the assistance of the East Prince Joint Forces Operations (JFO), located and arrested the fourth suspect (male) in the home invasion, break and enter, assault with a weapon which occurred on July 29th, 2017, in Borden-Carleton.

With this latest arrest, the RCMP now believes that all suspects involved in that incident have been arrested. The man is currently in custody and will appear in court in Summerside this morning. The three charged subjects are still scheduled to make a court appearance in Summerside this afternoon.

The RCMP continues to investigate this matter and asks that if anyone has information regarding this incident, please contact your local RCMP Detachment.
