Update: Police investigating suspicious house fire

Just before 5 p.m. last evening, the remains of a second individual were located in the home on Nebooktook Walk where a suspicious house fire occurred on July 24.

The second autopsy was conducted today at the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service in Dartmouth. Police are able to confirm that the remains are those of a man and a woman. The investigation into this incident is ongoing, and the matter is still considered to be suspicious.

Police continue to request assistance from the public, and are asking anyone with information about this incident to contact Halifax District RCMP or Halifax Regional Police at 902-490-5020.
