Lunenburg County RCMP has located the vehicle of 64-year-old David Lewis Foster, who was reported missing earlier this week.
Mr. Foster was last seen on October 7 when he left his home at 8:00 a.m. Shortly after 5 p.m. yesterday, he was located by a citizen inside his vehicle on a logging road off of Barss Corner Rd. in Parkdale, Lunenburg County. When approached, he fled into the woods by foot. Shortly after 1 a.m. today, Mr. Foster was observed on foot by a citizen in the Scarsdale area.
Lunenburg County RCMP Police Dog Services and a Nova Scotia Department of Natural Resources helicopter has been called in to assist. The RCMP is concerned for his well-being and are asking him to contact family or police to confirm he is okay.
Mr. Foster is a white male, 5-foot-11 and 175 pounds, with dark brown/grey hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark fall jacket, blue jeans, tan work boots, a black ball cap and wearing glasses.
