Two-vehicle collision sends both drivers to hospital with serious injuries

At approximately 7:18 p.m., Thursday, November 23rd, Kings District RCMP responded to a head-on vehicle collision on Route 4, Roseneath, PEI.

The drivers, a 20 year-old male from Head of Cardigan and a 58 year-old female from the Cardigan area were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

RCMP are continuing their investigations at this time. Road conditions were not a factor in the collision.

RCMP would like to thank the Cardigan and Montague Fire Department, IEMS and the Highway Safety Division of the Department of Transportation for all their assistance at the scene.
