Travellers encouraged to leave nothing in unattended vehicles

Halifax District RCMP is investigating complaint of unattended vehicles being targeted by thieves.

On December 13, RCMP responded to a complaint that three vehicles parked at a hotel on Pratt and Whitney Dr. in Goffs had their windows smashed and items of value stolen. Clothing, tools and other items were taken.

"We encourage all travellers to remove any items of value from your vehicle when planning on leaving it unattended for any amount of time," say Sgt. Craig Smith, Watch Commander – Halifax District RCMP.
