Traffic stop leads to arrests and seizure of Oxycodone

Just after 4 p.m. on Wednesday, a traffic stop on Highway 19 in Judique North, resulted in the seizure Oxycodone. The driver of the vehicle, a 48-year-old man from Ontario, and the passenger, a 76-year-old man from Inverness, were both arrested and are facing charges of Possession of Oxycodone for the Purpose of Trafficking.
Both men were released from custody and will appear in Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court on September 25 at 9:30 a.m.
