Three charged with firearm offences

Two men charged with firearms offences in Moncton will be back in court on November 24, 2017, while a woman charged in connection with the same incident will be back on November 28, 2017.

On November 7, 2017, shortly after 9 a.m., Codiac Regional RCMP responded to a car service business on Mountain Road as part of an ongoing investigation. Two men were arrested, and a firearm was seized. Following the arrests, a search warrant was conducted at a home on Cameron Street, where three additional firearms were seized and a woman was arrested.

All three appeared in court on November 10, 2017.

Ryan Maillet, a 26-year-old man from Moncton, was charged with several firearms related offences, drug possession and carrying a concealed weapon. Sébastien Cormier, a 19-year-old man from Moncton, was also charged with several firearms related offences and a breach of undertaking. Both men were remanded in custody pending a court appearance on November 24, 2017, at 9:30 a.m.

Jessica Richard, a 34-year-old woman from Moncton was also charged with several firearms related offences. She was remanded in custody pending a court appearance on November 28, 2017, at 1:30 p.m.
