Theft of guns and ammunition

The Northeast District RCMP is asking for the public's assistance in relation to a break, enter, and theft at a home in Campbellton.

Between 6 p.m. on November 17 and 10:45 a.m. on November 18, 2017, three firearms, ammunition, and an undisclosed amount of money were stolen from a safe in a home on Vanier Street in Campbellton.


The firearms are described as an older model brown 30-06 Winchester rifle with scope, an older model .410 rifle, a brown .410 rifle. One box of twenty Winchester 30-06 150 grain rounds of ammunition was also taken.

The investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information on the break and enter and theft, or who may have similar incidents in the area to report, are asked to contact the Northeast district RCMP, Campbellton detachment, at 506-789-6000.
