Teen arrested in connection with stabbing, Moncton, N.B.

The Codiac Regional RCMP has arrested a 14-year-old boy in connection with a stabbing in Moncton.

On November 22, 2017, around 5:15 p.m., police received a call of a stabbing at a fast food restaurant at 900 Mountain Road. A 13-year-old boy was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The suspect had fled the scene. Later the same night, a 14-year-old boy was arrested. He has been released pending a court appearance on Feb 22, 2018.

The investigation is continuing.
