Shot fired into home in Westport: RCMP investigating

At approximately midnight, a shot was fired into the living room of a home in Westport. A man, woman, and small child were home at the time, but no one was hurt as a result of the shot. The home is on Second St. in Westport, which is on Brier Island. It is in a rural area and is not visible to neighbours. Police do not feel this was a random act.
