Riverview RCMP seeking public’s assistance in investigating series of break and enters, Havelock, N.B.

The Riverview detachment of the Southeast District of the RCMP is seeking the public's assistance in its investigation into several break, enters, and thefts in the Havelock area, including three at the Havelock Legion.

Sometime during the overnight hours of November 12 and 13, 2017, a jukebox and liquor were stolen from the Havelock Legion on Highway 880. Four days later, the legion was broken into again, and money and liquor were taken. Then, during the overnight hours of November 21 and 22, 2017, a third break, enter and theft occurred at the legion resulting in cash registers and liquor being stolen.

Police are also investigating a similar break and enter at the Havelock Lions Club on Highway 885 that occurred during the overnight hours of November 20 and 21, 2017. Liquor was stolen during that incident.

Police believe the incidents may be related. The investigation is continuing.
