Ride for Dad Toronto West 10th Anniversary

This year was the 10th anniversary for the Toronto West Ride for Dad which started and finished in Oakville. In honor of the ride's 10th Anniversary and Canada's 150th Anniversary Constable (Cst) Brianne Harten attended this event to the great pleasure of the riders. Cst. Harten was very popular; everyone wanted a picture with her.

The Toronto West Ride for Dad is a charity organization which raises funds for prostate cancer research and awareness. This year they were able to donate $26,542 to Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre to further support their Prostate Cancer research. Ananth Ravi was the recipient of the cheque on behalf of Dr. Andrew Loblaw.

The Ride Chair Randy Skyba was grateful for all the support he obtained from the RCMP and everyone who attended. Bill Toff (Toff) and Linda Martelli from KX94.7 were appointed honorary Ride Captains. This year the ride had a great turnout with 186 riders and they were able to raise over $46,000 for this great cause.
