RCMP seeking witnesses to robbery

The Codiac Regional RCMP is asking for the public's help in investigating a report of a robbery in Moncton.

On July 15, 2017, shortly before 2 a.m., a teenaged boy was riding his bike near the intersection of Lester Street and Main Street in Moncton. He reported to police that he was attacked by two men who took his cell phone and headphones.

The first assailant is described approximately 19 or 20 years old, 6'3" tall with a heavy build and large brown eyes. He was speaking English. The second assailant is described as 5'6" tall, with dark curly hair, brown eyes and tattoos around his neck.

The victim reported that there were two people sitting on nearby steps who may have witnessed the incident. Codiac Regional RCMP are interested in speaking with these two people, or anyone else who may have witnessed the incident.
