Update: Missing English Harbour West man located and is safe

Thomas Evans has been located and is safe.

Police wish to thank the public and media for their assistance and their shares and retweets on social media.


The RCMP is asking for the public's help in locating an 83-year-old man from English Harbour West.

Thomas Evans was last seen at the Holiday Inn on Portugal Cove Road, St. John's, N.L. the morning of June 15th, 2017. He left his English Harbour West home several days ago, spent some time in Grand Falls-Windsor then travelled to St. John's. Friends and family have been unable to make contact with Evans since he left English Harbour West. The family and police want to confirm his safety.

EVANS is described as being 5'7" (170 cm) tall, 170-180 lbs (77kg), balding with grey hair, wears glasses, and is hard of hearing. He is driving a 2017 White Dodge Ram Pickup with Newfoundland and Labrador license plate CZT 555.
